Some of our Boulder Favorites
Dome Rock: This Boulder Canyon crag offers excellent crack and slab climbing, making it a great place to learn and practice trad climbing techniques. 5 minutes from Boulder and another 5 minutes from the car to the crag, this venue is one of the most easily accessible cliffs in the country. Some of the routes require multiple pitches to reach the top.
Flatirons: Better known for their long east face summit routes, the Flatirons also offer some of the best single pitch climbing in Colorado. While the east faces are low-angle and slabby, the west faces are overhanging and juggy. This makes for acrobatic and fun face climbing, with routes from 5.7 to 5.12.
Elephant Buttress: Near Dome Rock, this easily accessible area is stacked with routes from 5.4 to 5.11, making it a great place to spend the day for climbers of any experience level. It’s a great place for families to try climbing, and for more experienced climbers to hone their crack and face climbing skills.
